Mercy Health Hospital

The Javon Bea Hospital and Physician Clinic – Riverside is an extensive new healthcare development for the Mercy Health group. The hospital will provide women’s and children’s healthcare services, intensive care, neonatal care, and a variety of other outpatient services. The expansive development features 3 distinct wings interconnected into one unified campus. Erie was engaged early in the project development phase on a Design Assist basis to expedite the design-build process in order to produce the 100,000+ Sq.Ft. of curtain wall required on time to meet the ambitious schedule. Due to harsh environmental conditions of the region and the implementation of progressive energy codes, the facade performance demanded continual insulation outboard of the curtain wall. Erie’s high-performance ENVIRO|FACADES® system was ideal to meet the stringent energy efficiency aspects the facade required.
