Cummins Indianapolis Distribution Headquarters

The 9-story office building located in downtown Indianapolis, Indiana houses the headquarters of Cummins’ Global Distribution Business. The iconic office tower is characterized by the undulating facades that stagger up the building, accented by solar shading projections that are calibrated to offer enhancement to the facade’s overall thermal performance. High-performance, unitized, ENVIRO|FACADES® curtain wall was selected as the ideal solution due to the highly customized and unique attributes the facade demanded. The sculpted aspect of the tower required a variety of uniquely sized curtain wall units which incorporated numerous infill types; each with a varying level of transparency. This level of complexity in addition to a fast-track schedule made this project a prime candidate for early involvement by Erie in a Design Assist capacity.
